To ensure the longevity of your inox systeme products, we have created a detailed guide on the materials we use and the best care practices. By following these recommendations, you can maintain the quality and appearance of your items even with frequent use and cleaning.
Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel products are crafted with precision and attention to detail, ensuring a unique finish with individual characteristics. As a result, variations in texture, surface details, and natural markings are inherent to the production process.
The stainless steel surfaces are hand-polished and treated with a special oil coating to reduce surface absorption and facilitate maintenance. To preserve its appearance and protective properties, we recommend reapplying the oil once or twice a year after thorough cleaning.
Treatment
To maintain and protect your stainless steel surface, regular oil application is recommended. Follow these simple steps for best results:
Clean the Surface
Before applying oil, ensure the surface is clean and dry. Use a pH-neutral soap and water with a soft cloth or sponge to remove any dirt or residue. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber cloth in the direction of the grain to prevent streaks.
Apply the Oil
Use a small amount of organic oil that does not leave a strong scent. Apply the oil to a microfiber cloth, not directly onto the surface. Spread the oil evenly across the entire surface using gentle, circular motions.
Remove Excess Oil
After application, take a dry microfiber cloth and wipe off any excess oil. Ensure the surface has a thin, even layer without visible streaks or residue.
For optimal protection, repeat this process 1-2 times per year or as needed, depending on usage and exposure to environmental factors.
Natural Stone
Natural stone is a durable and timeless material that, when properly cared for, can last for generations. One of its key advantages is that it can be restored more easily than many other materials. The stone used in our pieces is carefully selected to ensure both aesthetic beauty and longevity.
Treatment
To maintain and protect your natural stone surface, regular oil application is recommended. Follow these simple steps for best results:
Clean the Surface
Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water to gently clean the stone.
Apply Oil
Once dry, apply a small amount of Vaseline oil or a suitable natural, scent-free oil to a soft cloth or sponge.
Evenly Distribute the Oil
Gently rub the oil onto the surface in circular motions, ensuring even coverage. Let the oil soak in for approximately two hours to nourish and protect the stone.
Remove Excess Oil
Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away any excess oil, ensuring a smooth, non-greasy finish.
Seal the Surface
Apply a stone sealant evenly across the entire surface for added protection. Leave the sealant to set for two to four hours, or as recommended by the product instructions.
